Who we are

Olutimedia (“we”, “us”, “our”) builds software tools for businesses. This policy covers our website at olutimedia.com and all apps we publish, including ImportIQ.

What data we collect

  • Contact form submissions: Name, email address, and message content when you contact us through our website.
  • Shopify store data (ImportIQ): Store name, product data from CSV files you upload, and subscription status. CSV data is processed in memory and not stored after import.
  • Usage data: Import counts and subscription status to enforce plan limits.

How we use your data

  • To provide and improve our apps and services
  • To respond to support requests
  • To process subscriptions and billing through Shopify
  • To enforce usage limits on free and paid plans

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Third-party services

  • Shopify: Handles authentication, billing, and product data for our Shopify apps. See Shopify's Privacy Policy.
  • Anthropic (Claude AI): CSV column headers and sample data are sent to Claude for column detection. No full product data is stored by Anthropic.
  • DigitalOcean: Hosts our applications and databases. See DigitalOcean's Privacy Policy.
  • Web3Forms: Processes contact form submissions. See Web3Forms Privacy Policy.

Data retention

CSV files are processed in memory and deleted immediately after import. Usage counters are retained for billing purposes and reset monthly. If you uninstall an Olutimedia app, we delete your session data, usage records, and cached billing status.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at our support page. For Shopify apps, uninstalling the app triggers automatic deletion of your data.

GDPR compliance

We comply with GDPR requirements. We handle customer data requests, customer data erasure, and shop data erasure as required by Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks. We do not transfer personal data outside the scope described in this policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “last updated” date.
